ACG-Envirocan introduces its new Catenary Bar Screen and Traveling Water Screen lines from E&I Corporation: two equipment solutions that are both technically superior and economically practical.
E&I Corporation’s extra heavy-duty Catenary Bar Screen is a front cleaned, front return mechanical bar screen which eliminates the lower sprocket with chain links which lock onto themselves to form a rigid “catenary curve” – enabling easier inspection & maintenance; and is less susceptible to blockages, damage and corrosion than chain driven units. The result is a much longer operating life, less maintenance shutdowns and lower maintenance cost.
The E & I Corporation Traveling Water Screen work is simple yet rugged, consisting of two strands of heavy-duty roller-chain which supports mesh baskets. The chain and basket assembly travels over head-shaft sprockets equipped with removable hardened teeth and then continue around lower traction wheels, where seal plates maintain close tolerances thereby eliminating the pass-through of debris.
